Born in Monterey as a Third Generation Peninsula Native, I’ve resided in the City of Seaside for most of my life and have also held residency in Carmel Valley for nearly a third of my life. As I grew into adulthood I was raised with principles of self-reliance, limited government and service to country. After graduating from Carmel High School in 2001, I registered to vote as a Republican at 18 and joined the United States Navy at 21 to become a Nuclear Machinists Mate.
In 2012 I graduated from Monterey Peninsula College with Associates Degrees in History, Psychology, Political Science and University Studies with an Engineering Emphasis. I am nearly finished at CSU Monterey Bay working towards a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I also helped form a College Republicans Charter at CSU Monterey Bay and helped to organize and work with conservatives on campus.
For over a decade I had worked as a Private Security Officer as my primary occupation and had also worked tutoring students in Math and Physics for almost a decade. I’ve also been a member to a local church in Monterey for 15 years, a member of a local men’s community in Seaside/Carmel for the past 14 years, and I‘ve sponsored a child in an impoverished country for almost 9 years.
For over the past 3 years, I’ve served as an Appointed City Commission Chairman for a local City Commission in a community volunteer capacity. I’ve also been involved with a couple groups and organizations over the past 4 years that focus on leadership and professional networking.
